Karen Larson Turner visited the gallery from her hometown in Charleston, South Carolina.
Works on display depict Karen's enchanting, limited edition watercolor prints of Americana homes, coastal scenes, and gardens.

Maureen Kelly Longo, a native of Rhode Island, received a B.A. in art from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. After graduating, she worked for Star Markets, Inc., where among her projects was the design of the Star Logo. Moving to Middletown, Connecticut, in 1982, she taught drawing and art history at St. John's School. Longo considers herself a primary landscape painter with pastels, watercolors, and acrylics, her preferred mediums. As a member of the Art Guild of Middletown and the Connecticut Pastel society, she exhibits extensively in Connecticut. She has won numerous awards at juried art shows, including Best in Show for "Plymouth Plantation." For fun, she paints "trompe l'oeil" and has created the faux stone facades for Graveyard Production's Haunted Graveyards at Lake Compounce amusement park.
Sally Barr - is a watercolorist with collections displayed nationally in Canada, Great Britain, Germany and Japan. Past member of both Middletown Art Guild and Glastonbury Art Guild, helping with the running of studio II in Glastonbury in the early days.
Sally studied with nationally and internationally recognized artists including Claude Crony, Jack Flynn, Jessie Mayer, Mary Napoletano, Zolton Szabo, and Yalfred Thelin.
School: Chamberlayne Junior College, Boston Mass. A.S. in Interior Design /internship with A.S.I.D. affiliated Interior Designer as design assistant.
Sally has taught watercolor workshop in Bolton High School and (K-12) in Glastonbury school system with age & achievement level course for watercolor introduction and follow-up activities for teachers.

A little about this year's Christmas Shoppe: This year we have wonderful new Candle Pyramids from 3 different Handcraft areas in the Erzgebirge Mountains in the former East Germany. Also Smokemen in different sizes, 58 larger Smokers and many, many smaller ones.

We have a new company with wonderful, very colorful wooden hanging ornaments, the miniature decorations on each ornament are delightful for young and old.
Hand-painted glass balls, hearts and angels from Austria, some very detailed snow scenes, children playing, nativity, Santas and more, glass ornaments from Poland, the Czech Republic.
